Education: Currently enrolled in high school as a Junior. Riku is in class during the day, but that doesn't mean he won't sneak online over the course of the day. He currently takes college prep classes, but refuses to take any college courses due to the fact that he has no idea what he wants to do with his life.
Residence: Apartments C

Appearance: Green eyes, dyed silver hair (naturally a very light blond), usually seen wearing jeans and a t-shirt. Athletic build, about 5'10" tall.
Personality: Riku is rather quiet, not because he is shy, but moreso because he feels he doesn't need to waste words. He has very few close friends, but the ones he considers friends he is fiercely loyal to. While Riku has many acquaintences both inside and outside school, he doesn't associate with most of them. Finding real life rather boring (what teenager doesn't?), he seeks escape from the everyday at every chance he gets. Like all teenagers, he can have his emo moments, usually if he feels guilty for anything, whether it was his fault or not. He is also very competitive, competing in the occasional weekend invitational soccer tournements at his school.
History: Riku was born to a somewhat well to do family that lived in a nicer area of town. When he was five, his parents were killed in a tragic auto accident, and he was sent to live with his only remaining relative, his aunt. His aunt was born and raised in the lower income are of Crystal Midgar, something that bothers Riku. He still feels some guilt over his parents' deaths, as well as his aunt's continued living near poverty. He spends most of his time between school and looking for a part time job, excelling in school only because he feels it's what his parents would have wanted. He has refrained from joining any extra-curricular activities (except for the occassional weekend soccer tournements), much to the dismay of his classmates.
Other: While Riku tends to keep to himself, he cares very much about other people and what they think of him. He is searching for that part time job to help his aunt save for his upcoming college bills, something that he already feels guilty for making her foot the bill for. He sees helios.net as his way to escape reality, even for a little while.
